After playing violin and viola from an early age, I embarked upon my career in Lutherie in 2014 when I trained in making and repairing violin family instruments with Keith Graves at South Thames College, London. Following this I focused on repairs and restoration, working with instruments from both auction and clients, until I left for Florence, Italy in 2017 to hone my skills as a maker in residency with Liuteria Toscana. Following this, I was granted the Winston Churchill Memorial trust fellowship which enabled me to further focus on my making career in Italy, and was made a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts the same year.
